Interesting how we stumble on stocks... For me It was a combination of an assignment that was proposed to me for a job interview for equity research analyst - to write a report up on MSB. Sadly i didn't get the position (in hindsight somewhat glad I didn't for various reasons, including I wouldn't have been a very good analyst at that time!), but that's where I first learned about Mesoblast. I had no idea about biotechs except that they were a punters stock in their early stages... but over time I'd hear about it over and over again when I'd least suspect it, and a recommendation from bell potter was the final sign before I'd buy my first lot.
