He will show up one of these days.

WRT these glaciers. True one day they will be gone and another day they may be under a km of ice. It's called climate.

Allowing the humanities to get control of Western science is a disaster. So what is to be done?

You advocate to do nothing. So just look along the East Coast of Australia and you can see how successful your policy has been .
