It is strange situation. New management that took over from the disaster of the last 10 + years seems to be somewhat ineffective so far. After the money and effort they put in to oust the hopeless previous board, one would expect lot of positive announcements. So far nothing that would create any real excitement for the company and stock.
Yes - many cost cutting measures and personnel changes and that was to be expected. But these measures are not revenue related, possibly on the contrary. Closure of the US facility - does this mean that DDT is abandoning the US market? How will they supply their big US customer, which was presumably buying some 100+K of microdot kits every year? How does the closure of the UK facility affect the FIAT supplies - or is it closing?
It has been a year since the new board spent so much cash in to the takeover scheme. They were voted in by the shareholders on a promise of cleanup, experience, market knowledge and past performance.
So far there was not ONE positive announcement of new client, new revenue stream or a new contract. Deal with DDT SA for Russia is rather a pie in the sky, just like the TOYOTA in Europe. Yes, this is a very hard filed to succeed in Just look at performances of ASX listed companies in the very similar field - YPB, SMX and DTZ, All loosing BIG money and living of shareholders cash.
It would be nice to hear from the board what is really happening and what the REALISTIC plans are, not only the repeating "BLUE SKY" tidbits. Unfortunately, none will be forthcoming. I bet that soon we will see a fund raising exercise.
In the Sentiment field below nest to None, Sell, Hold and buy should be another button : Confused.......... Holding for now in a hope that performance and share price rise to some manageable loss scenario. I don't see any chance for the price to go back to $0,10 where it could be.
