NBN is not worth re-selling for telcos as there is no margin and not worth buying for customers as wireless performs better, TLS has positioned itself brilliantly for an NBN future, if you pay attention over the next few years you'll realize how true that statement is.
The fact that people like you on the ground, real people, customers, people who use home internet services and never considered wireless previously as a viable option, you have quite literally identified what TLS's advantage is for the next 5 years at least!
As someone who has actually woken up to this reality early you should be seeing the opportunity!

In fact even on these boards only a few months ago anyone who suggested this as a future trend was committing heresy LOL

Maybe I'm just unlucky and I admit its not a scientific sample but every ex-Telstra employee that I have met has always been an 'expert ' on what's wrong with IT matters. Apart from having been given a pretty good training by Tls they have all also received a very very nice retirement package. Whenever they tell me their story and opinions. .... well, I do sense a similar theme.
Having said all that I do acknowledge Dongles frustration and his experience in the area.
