Battery material suppliers in demand

If a company is involved in the supply of battery ingredients, there’s a good chance its share price is performing strongly today, mirroring the performance of electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla whose shares soared to fresh record highs on Monday.On the benchmark index, Orocobre has jumped 7.7 per cent to $3.80 while Pilbara Minerals has gained 7.1 per cent to $0.375. On the broader All Ordinaries index, Argosy Minerals has soared 8.5 per cent to $0.089 while Syrah Resources has climbed 5.7 per cent to $0.65.

The SMH considers AGY a significant enough lithium stock to be mentioned with the heavy hitters in that space.

It looks like the tide is turning for lithium. The best performing commodity stocks over the last month have been GXY, PLS and ORE. Even that dog AVZ has had a run the last two days. The market is still asleep with AGY. It's got to wake up soon.

It looks like AGY has timed their move into production to perfection.
