Agreed. Arthroscopy usually just involves going in and trimming away loose meniscus. It may not actually be appropriate. If it's not an option get on glucosamine until PPS is available.
Orhocell (OCC) have a stem cell procedure (ACI) that repairs cartilidge, but if you can endure the pain, hold until iPPS available to the public.
