A coalition of Labor and National is difficult to imagine starbust and I think the Nat leader was probably just playing games when he said that. More likely the Nats will sit on the cross benches along with the three Independants and together dictate the terms to either a Liberal or Labor government. Anything is possible though and I doubt we will see anything concrete until all the results are in and we know who won what. Interestingly the WA election has overshadowed the two federal byelections where the coalition went very badly, barely retaining Downers old blue ribbon seat and losing Vailles old blue ribbon seat in a landslide to an Independant. Vailles seat had been with the coalition since 1949 so that was a serious loss. Dave R.
