I think you are right but I think the Libs and Nats will work through the "royalties for regional policy" and come up with something that is very attractive to the Nats and their communities on the land.
The regional infrastructure I'd expect will be very high on the agenda along with support for the mining industry, even if it's just unblocking the application and permitting process as well as supporting new initiatives for jv's for transport and port infrastructure.
