Brookfield passed on IFN back when B&B went under - but took the B&B Infrastructure fund (for a song)... times may have changed... and as previously noted - they have amassed quite a global renewables portfolio since the GFC... so if the price is right - they may put in a bid on these assets - i doubt they would need IFN to manage them - but a offtake agreement would be nice.
But as Ash has mentioned previously and the included pv-mag article also reports, if renewables are feeding directly into the grid at present - the network constraints currently being applied to them are making it hard for them to make money. At least IFN is doing well.
