40-50 k's in my opinion, is reasonably close to the City, Perth.
I used to be able to get there in 30mins, these days though, a bit longer.

20-30 k's, your pretty much in Perth.

Trouble is these days, people are to lazy, in the land of nod and cry if they have to sit in the car for more than 15mins.

Future slums you say, I expect you say this with your nose in the air lol.

$400 k's close to the city you say?????????
