Maybe on paper but the guys/girls with the big $$$ will have to decide that & if the risk of being at the cutting edge of it is worth the potential gain.
If they decide yes then boom, if no then game over.
If carbon aka CO2 cost more to emit to the atmosphere then it would be easy maths, for now just keep generating less efficiently, pump out more CO2/KWhr with known tech & let the next generation wear the consequences. In many ways KPO is ahead of its time.
Maybe there really are some 'ethical' investment funds out there that will look a little deeper, I hope so.
