A guy like our non-executive chairman is presumably not making such substantial plays in ALK just at this moment for no reason.
He cannot have got to where he is without minimizing uncertainty in his business dealings. That is, he wouldn't just leave things to chance.
We need Boda to come good and someone to front up regarding the DZP. If these things fall into place then who knows where the ceiling is for ALK, but it will be high.
No need to remind anyone here that today's electric cars don't just need lithium which is in a bit of a slump at the moment, they also need lanthanides (aka rare earths). And as the climate situation starts to bite, as undoubtedly it is, the need for lanthanides is only going to go up. Many more wind turbines are certainly going to have to be rolled out. New technologies are also going to require them. For instance, Robots will require more. But there are most likely going to be many more new uses as we pull out all the stops to try to dig ourselves out of the climate hole we are in.
