My most recent experience with the term 'placement' was in the trading halt announcement of KZR on 13th January 2020.
Similar to this thread, it involved many saying 'grrr' until the further announcement that billionaire Eric Sprott and Novo Resources LLC, both well renowned gold industry investors had each taken 10% slices of the company.
KZR was up 61% in response (yesterday) and is buyer to seller ration 20 to 1 today.
Hoping for a similar result with the BRN placement?
