The link I posted was based on a sample of 1500 Americans. I wouldn't take too much notice of it. It was intended as an example of what statistics can show.
Even so, the "over represented-ness" is certainly not significant enough to claim the problem is the "elderly" and the fact remains that the majority of "denialists" are under 65.
