My employer expects me to show up for work. Are you suggesting i can not show up for a week and debate the meaning of expectation and retain my job? I imagine disciplinary action would occur.
Before you suggest it's not relative please remember you are a shareholder, this is your company. In essence, together all holders are the employer.
Last week the results were expected. This week is late. Next week? At what date @exookie do you draw the line?
