Hmmm not exactly that nuanced..
If your baby is crying... It may want milk.. It may want food.. It may have a serious health problem which is causing pain..
No parent actually knows why their baby is crying, a simple application on a smartphone would solve this dilemma easily.
I see it as very straightforward when it comes to a consumer app for babies.
With machine learning and AI algorithms the app has no limits to it's potential. One day it could definitively say that a baby is crying because it wants to be breastfed..
Who knows. I think it will happen.
