Rocks The two words you need to focus on at this point of your DD are 'mitigate responsibility'.
INR have mitigated their responsibility long before Trumps ffice was threatened with legal action. We have the Trump admin on one side, environmental protectors on the other and then right in the middle is INR. INR did not wish to fight for a relatively small area of land which hosted the buckweat plants, thus ahead of time, they anticipated potential threats to operations and put protections in place. That protection was to avoid the land altogether. It's my understanding that this is the reason why INR itself was not threatened with legalities, but was told that they need to adhere to them as they arose. Since that, INR have been amicable with the protectionists and it's evident that they appreciated INR's friendliness and willingness to negotiate parameters of their discovery operations.

    RESULT and evident CONCLUSION:
No one has beef with INR. INR has beef with nobody. Mining/exploration guideline agreements have been both struck and agreed to between INR and environmentalists and from here on if INR stay in touch with them and adhere to the agreements our operations remain at the forward looking setting called 'full speed ahead'. I see no hold ups from here on, on this subject.
INR mitigated their responsibility for the management and preservation of this species (protected or not and off it's own bat rather than by force) and it is all in the past. This was a grand master chess move.

24Tabs you will find this analogy (albeit it factual not fantasy) is a good reply to your question of why relocation is not the best practice for this species of plant.
All plants, especially weeds, are actually mineral miners. They mine nutrients and they pick and choose the nutrient or minerasl that supports their growth and flowering. For example when a plant needs to flower it requires greater absoroptoin rates of K (Potassium). As it grows it's woody anatomy it requires a certain input of P (Phosphorus) and for it's green growth or restoration (such as ofter a bushfire) it requires increased amounts of N (Nitrogen). The buckwheat in question mines Lithium, for whatever reason this is supported by sound geochemistry. Microscopy of the plant would reveal concentrations of Lithium (in various forms). How deep the source of Lithium that the wheat mines is an unknown. It may mine only as deep as the root system or it's mining process could rely on rainfall from topsoil, dependant on sporadic growth. Other factors come into play which I won't spend time on, but there are several more. Both INR and the environmentalist would be acutely aware of them and after assessing everything it's apparent that leaving the plant where it is is the best thing for the plant. But that's ok, we have a long life mine without needing that Terra Firma.
The agreement that we have struck, which protects our mining operations as well as the plants mining operations have been declared appropriate for the preservation of the plant in it's current environment and there is now no if we leave well enough alone. I can't think of any reason the company would disrupt well enough thus they will leave it alone.

As an aside, the Global X Lithium & Battery Tech chart is looking strong. I use this as a barometer of global lithium investment. It's code is LIT and others may like to have a look to see the growth pattern forming.
As of yesterday and today, we are seeing some strong buying which has resulted in around 25% profit for the last 10 trding days.
The moving average is increasing in value and is showing signs of attracting the volume of trades that we saw in the ORANGE period on this chart. The difference between now (YELLOW elipse) and the orange period is that it is now significantly uptrending. This should drag all lithium stocks up with it.
I won't get too technical with the charts and indicators but am happy to if somebody requests it.

For the record, despite my handle here, I am not trading INR, I hold a long position and expect to be involved for a minimum of 2-3 years. Aiming for 5 if operations are favourable once commercial.
