catty, sorry mate but you don't throw your hands up in the air, in the face of injustice ansd say, "Oh, well, that's human nature!"
"Human Nature" comprises many things. Many utterly wonderful things, things that have to do with justice and a fair go, things that have to do with putting one's life in jeopardy so as to save the life of another, things that show the brilliance of human minds and hearts. These are things that need to be nurtured and protected from the ugly things that are also part of human nature. That's one reason civilised societies have laws -the other, of course, is to do the bidding of the rich!
All ugliness should be fought tooth and nail. Weeded from the huge garden of Eden called "Human Nature."
