Out of curiosity, which of those metals do you envisage your roof being made of? Copper, cobalt lithium maybe?
So no coking coal being mined equals no steel for cars or zincalume steel roofing but you knew that and who needs a fridge because you're looking forward to digging a cellar to store food in and "pedalling" a fred flintstone style wood and rock vehicle across the harbour bridge to get to work because motor cars and trains are no longer needed in a modern steel free world.
Every three tonnes of steel produced requires 2 tonnes of coking coal to draw down the iron ore and produce steel with 1% carbon in it approx.
