When you say coal exports... did you know most of Australia's coal exports are Coking coal, used to make steel? Steel is used in EVERY other energy tech that you would likely be wanting us to prescribe ourselves to in order to lower emissions. Tesla Vehicles - 1.5t of coking coal Windturbines - between 30 and 90 t of coking coal Solar panels - lots of coking coal (all steel components). Nuclear - Lots of steel - Lots of coking coal. The number one thing we can do, individually, is to REDUCE consumption, as we are all responsible for what we consume and nearly everything has steel involved in the process (which requires coking coal).

Hi N Agreed. My last 2 cars have by choice been late model 2nd hand, one 18 months (Merc, 22,000km), one 6 months (Volvo, 13,000km). And I hang on to them for 200-250,000 km. Dex
