Was watching the tennis is Adelaide and before starting they had the aboriginal 'auntie' or 'uncle' do their usual spiel. I guess I'm used to being welcomed to my own country now (sigh). But this guy felt the need to "remove evil spirits from the trophy"... and then he did the evil spirit removing incantation. Everyone clapped.
Surely there are some elders within the aboriginal community who can put an end to this embarrassing rubbish? Surely? They are at the point of being invasive themselves. Is that the idea? Pay back? Holy cow!
