Hey man, i was doing some research and found this company, then i noticed you are also on here.
coming from my usual position (noob), i being doing some research and found the following site:

    https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2005/11/why-it-takes-so-long-to-drill-for-oil-in-alaska.html
    it mentions that:

"Unless the oil companies take special precautions, their heavy trucks and oil rigs would sink into and damage the Alaskan tundra. This isn’t as much of a concern in the winter months, when the ground freezes over and hardens"

So with what Ferguson is saying, it is more of an environmental and difficulties to navigate rigs during summer on to site? so XCD would have to pay a lot more to get the rig on site then to wait and do this during winter? i feel like i am missing some sort of fundamental here.

I would have thought that the process once the drill is on site, drilling either during winter or summer would be the same/similar process.
