I was intrigued with the market over-reaction in MRQ yesterday. Well, at least it gave some of us (myself included) an opportunity to acquire more shares at a great price.
I am not sure how many here have looked into MRQ's Linhaune prospect. This one is exciting and I can't wait until they start drilling this program. The Linhaune prospect is located on the coast, immediately south of RIO/Savannah Mutamba project, and includes 20km strike of prospective HMS. What I find fascinating is that Rio Tinto previously conducted shallow reconnaissance drilling of the prospect using 500m holes drilled 3 km apart. What they found is exciting -
Very High Grade THM to depths of 10m (Very shallow) ranging from
5% - 25% THM. These finding alone make MRQ a
potential company maker! They are clearly saving one of their best tenements for last, imo.
Any thoughts on why they didn't prioritise this prospect. The fundamentals look intriguing, to say the least.
