Thanks GF for answering but if there was indeed a take over would they offer to buy our shares directly or offer us shares in their company? How does it normally work?

For instance if OZL wanted to take control of the whole operation (Paris included..or not)? Like yourself I am going to have a big celebration because I have been steadily increasing my holdings in IVR and now have a fairly tidy sum.

Sorry for being quite vague on this but I used to just fly aircraft and my money went to fund managers who did all this for us. Now that I'm investing directly myself, I, and probably some others are wondering.

I would always used to tell my students. There is no such thing as a dumb question, because generally there is someone else wanting to know but is too afraid to ask.

And one more thing.

What happened to the price of silver/gold when SARS hit. I know equity markets went down then and are showing signs of it now with this new pneumonia scare. So investors will be looking for safer investments. Do you feel this a good thing for precious metals?
