Even taking into account the extremely high tonnage is there any reason to believe this is anything other than a shelf project until commodities sort themselve out over the next 6 months or so and we see +$4 a pound for copper or even $5 or $6 down the track if the boom is set to continue as BHP and RIO suggest.... at these depths ..1km +..and these ave grades .5% even @ $3 a pound is this deposit economical..we've seen or should i say heard of some prospects that have been shelved due to enormous cost blow outs..Im no miner,so id be interested in what sort of cost they estimate to get it out of the ground...agree that current market sentiment is dictating wild sp swings even in the top 20..cant help but wonder what the sp would have been had this come out 18months 2 yrs ago..
