You really should never complain about an arbitrage opportunity. & every arbitrage opportunity should be taken. Until December there were plenty of opportunities to spend $15K on market at significantly lower prices than today's & your 'at risk' money would have turned a profit.

If the offer raised more money, it would lead to more dilution, poitentially a turn in sentiment & potentially a bigger flood of shares sold at a profit as soon as they are issued.

Nobody got dudded, everybody got the same opportunity as they were originally offered in June. In fact, they got an even better, lower risk offer, they just didn't get their full allocation. Don't forget, this wasn't a rights issue - you have no 'right' to receive $15K worth.
