3 years ago I bought a SaaS tech stock at 0.25c because we were using the software at my workplace, it was one of my first investments and I was all glee as I watched it rise to 40c but then it started a down trend despite no change in fundamentals and increased revenue growth. I sold at ~30c out of lack of patience and inexperience.
Today, only 3 years later that stock is now trading at 0.865, had I stuck to the fundamentals I would be driving around in my dream Lotus Evora that I have been saving for for the last several years.
No doubt many of you are more experienced than I and have had many similar experiences. With the threads so quiet I thought I would share my 'almost big win' story
PIQ is just shy of 5 years since its IPO where it floated at 20c, Richard has been steering the helm since day 1 and I can only imagine the drive brewing inside of him to bear witness to the fruits of all the hard work he and his employees have done since listing. The fundamentals are stronger here than they were on my 865c cent stock and I fully intend to not make the same mistake twice!
