wholeheartedly agree.
Watermark Funds / ALF is prime example of the zero net equities exposure as talked about in today's FIN.
Hence every 200 stock has around 2/3% short sold, as to never be naked as you say.

But 10/12% is way too high for simply balancing long positions/trades ( eg pairing a trade long FLT/short WEB).

Have a look at the other top ones below. Some topical names!!
WEB's even more shorted than ones like BKL & Dominoes which are structurally having problems (and also expensive).

Someone is going to mightily right or mightily wrong !!

And cant work out whether this is a fair dinkum WEB "for sale" or they have been approached.
