All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.

In this verse, through is NOT in reference to Jesus;
Isa 44:24 - Thus saith Yahweh, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I Yahweh that maketh all; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

John 1 & 2 is to show, What and Who it was and from here on we see Word and God referred to as Him and He.

1:3 - All things came into being through Him (this, same, it The Word) and without Him (this, same, it The Word) not even one thing came into being that has come into being;Psa 33:6 By the Word of Yahweh the heavens were made and all the host of them by the breath of His Mouth (Spirit as His Word is).For he spake, and it was; he commanded, and it stood fast.

1:4 In Him (this, same, it The Word) life was and this life was the light of men = His Word Psa 119:105 - Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

1:5 - And the light (this, same, it The Word) shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.And the Light, = God 1 John 1:5, Father of it James 1:7 and his word Psa 119:105.

1:6 - There was a man sent from God,whose name John.
1:7 - The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that allmen through him might believe.Witness of the Word = The Word of God, LIGHT = YAHWEH

Mal 3:1 - Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith Yahweh of hosts.
Isa 40:3 - The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of Yahweh, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Just like the narrow gate etc Jesus spoke of, and Few find it.
John the Baptist first role was, make straight, Clear of the exiting truths, what and who it was, from outside of creation to the changing events about to SUDDENLY appear.
Hence, EXACTLY that happens in John's opener, the first 13 verses are ALL about the Almighty God and Father = Word (The Aleph Tav) -> The Word from which comes -> the Word = the Word of God.

1:14 Then, and the Word (Hidden mystery) Flesh became..................as well as the Word, God, came in Jesus, the Temple.
John 14:10 - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Acts 2:22 - Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did through (on account of, by reason of, because of, for the sake of) him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:


John 12:49 - For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
And these words, which God is are Spirit and words of eternal life, as in God is Life John 1:4, which he GAVE to Jesus John 5:26 and THEN and ONLY then, after Baptism, sent him into the world.
Jesus likewise taught some and as he was sent, even so, he sent them John 17:18.

It's all bout the word of Life, words of eternal life Tonio and Jesus never had these without measure UNTIL around His Baptism.
TOTALLY impossible for Jesus to be the Word in 1;1.
