this is a good question, coupled with which companies have IP that can be converted to SaaS or ARR that can be purchased cheap in which regions that have the propensity to spend big on nice to haves (modern intranet)
it seems to be shaping up that the medium term strategy is reduction in opex/ burn through staff reduction and growth through acquisition - as previously mentioned it's probably easier to acquire good talent embedded in a solid culture than create it.
