    Your post is spot on.

    IPM is undervalued, so is

    BPT at 84.5 cents
CVN at 33.5 analyst valuation 90-115
    TAP 94 cents
    OEX 72.5 (last valuation $2.50 - 3$ plus
COE 39 analyst valuation 91 cents
    NXS 133 analyst vaulation 2.05

Thev have buckleys in cash, assets that will require their cash flow to develop. Its a good compnay but if one looks at oilers this week IPM would have been in the high 80s this week.

Now lets use the OEX example, if someone launched a takeover, under the same logic that cooper should pay full value of IPM, then one would need to pay 400% permium ofr OEX. Am I making the point. Analyst value means nothing in thismarket as you correctly point out , specially a report commissioned to defend a takeover

Perhaps IPMs full value is 2$, but really in this market that is very very irrelevant. Part of me hopes the takeover fails to prove a point. A market where IPM is in the mid $1 is market where COE is in the 70s, which would value IPM at closer to 2%
