All very good points. What makes you think Afterpay doesn't use behavioral credit models? Each user has their limit increased as they build a history with Afterpay.
When you look at comments made online there are some people who complain that they have a perfect repayment history but cannot use Afterpay anymore (or use it but at a reduced limit).
By definition that's a behavioural model. There would be 10 or more variables that feed into the model, and paying on time just being one of them.
