Who here can honestly say that they know the C02 footprint of every company that has any chemical in their current batteries? Car, phone, toys, remotes etc etc. The idea seems ludicrous to me.
Whilst i agree with some of the points you put forward, this one is moot IMO. LPD isn't producing batteries, we will be producing lithium hydroxide that will be lumped in with all the other like product and indistinguishable to the end user.
Unless i have missed something, is there any evidence that LPD will even be producing significantly more C02 than most other producers? What evidence is there that LPD are not taking any measures to mitigate this (IMO) non issue?
