Has anyone ever seen drill hits this good that did not result in a resource that was mined?

65m at 7.1g/t Gold
47m at 10.97g/t Gold

These are exceptional hits from open pit type depths

Just spent some time looking back at WAF which is obviously also in Western Africa and they ran to $200m MC or so pretty quickly once they started turning drill results into JORC grade resource. WAF now going into production a few years later at  around $400MC and planning to produce 200-300 oz a year.




OKU peaked at ~$150m MC back in early 2018 based on grades much poorer than they are hitting now, they are awaiting assays which will likely further impress. Pretty clear in my view that this will be another multi million oz deposit which can be developed, hopefully with a nice low AISC like WAF which are around $US600/oz.
