My original post above, simply highlighted a particular set of indicators at the time, namely trend, momentum and volatility, with a potential outcome. Aside from these three measures, others can choose to show volume info, support and resistance levels, Fibonacci levels, or candlestick analysis. It's simply a view. You would have to be a moron to definitively claim an outcome off the back of TA. Add to which risk mgmt is critical... "blind freddy" knows to set stop losses and profit limits.
The issue is that his logic is flawed every time. Simply repeating "it's in a downtrend" every day doesn't make you some oracle of stock picking, let alone demonstrate any degree of TA knowledge. Especially when you throw in non existing terms like Harmani death cross. For which we are yet to actually be given a description of. Or been shown any actual chart to demonstrate the semi literate claims.
We've previously tried to decipher his ramblings.
There is a Harami bullish/bearish candlestick setup. Not applicable here.
There is also a Death Cross, the opposite of a Golden Cross, where the 50 period moving average crosses the 200 period moving average. Now these are legitimate bearish/bullish signals respectively, and for those that don't understand the relevance of TA, these signals are monitored by TA traders using screeners, so these events can certainly create interest. Now while FBR did hit a Death Cross back in Feb 18, it actually followed with 9 months of whipsawing, before descending lower, so again, not a very relevant signal in FBRs case.

There is no more value demonstrated than the clowns you get in every TA thread that offer insightful contributions like "charts are astrology". It just demonstrates they don't understand its purpose, application or limitations. Even better the ones that say "one announcement and the chart won't mean anything". Really? A fundamental piece of information will impact interpretations of some backward looking mathematical statistics. Geniuses at work.
I'm all for contrary views, but back up up with claims with decent analysis, otherwise it's just an entitled opinion that others can easily refute.
