fintech stocks sq, shopify , meli, Mastercard, visa are on a strong run in 2020 so far to date...sector is on a tear..its all about the thematics- assuming the company in question is a leader, which these all are...including APT in BNPL..
i hold all these but mainly APT. I am bullish on the fintech sector in general thats why i believe in APT.
re Valuation metrics, i believe the textbooks can be thrown out, we're in 2020, value investing is not the best imho although has relevance to certain sectors like WOW, COL, WES, which are doing well also.

re APT look at the revenues- revenues is growing at +50% rates over the next few years at least with no deceleration forecast.
