Reason why its down is because this year CNY is in January, usually its in Feb so we normally see a slow down in Jan data. Most of the industries slowed down in Dec in preparation for the CNY in China. combined that with Xmas. I would expect a slow Dec.
The impact of the virus to the export numbers is still unknown, i wold expect to heard some clarification from the company in Feb.
