That's such utter nonsense. why would merchant fees impact customer behaviour to go away from Afterpay? How can latitude and other clones compete with Afterpay which is free if you pay on time.
Customers drive the bnpl platform choice and not retailers. They don't have Afterpay, they just miss out on that customer base. If they do get a former Afterpay user it will be because they defaulted or became a high risk multiple bnpl user... so just junk.
I guess REA went out of business when other real estate platforms appeared offering the same thing for cheap.
Can we get some quality down rampers in here please. I'm bored.
