I thought I'd reopen this thread as I finally underwent nerve conduction studies to ascertain the cause of the foot drop which I acquired last October. It's better than it was, but still there.
As it occurred at the same time as our magic juice it was tempting to blame the iPPS, which was potentially a great big black mark. However, at the same time I was spending a lot of time practicing several yoga poses (the infamous Vajrasana among them) which involved kneeling), and there is a lot of evidence to suggest that this might be the culprit.
So it would seem; my peroneal nerve is damaged (but still intact) below my right knee. I am informed that mine is the best type of drop foot to have if there is such a thing, and that a regime of no kneeling, no squatting and no leg crossing should see things get back to normal in two to three months ...
