Calling this stock a dog is pretty inaccurate right now imo.
It may have been a dog in the past and it certainly may become a dog again in the future, but right now no one can really say.
It's a new management team with a new org structure under a new company name with a new strategic purpose currently developing new products/systems to target new customers in a relatively new market.
Even the key players may not really know what they have right now as they aren't scheduled to choose a clear direction until product development testing is done which is currently scheduled for completion by May I believe.
What we do know is that the information they are trying to harness has a significant value and that if they can retrieve and package the data in a meaningful way and promote and sell it to the right customers they will be able to generate good income at low cost almost immediately when compared to the many other small cap startup mining, oil & gas, bio-tech etc hopefuls that many of us hold.
Anyone who has followed Facebook or Google over the past decade or so would know that our personal data has enormous value. Our personal health data is a huge area of as yet untapped potential but certainly Government, NGO's, big Pharma and private health companies (to name a few) all have a massive interest in understanding consumer behaviour and experience so that they can better target resources or market and sell products.
Can the Opyl team succeed in their mission? I don't know but I'd rather give them the benefit of the doubt at this early stage and feel optimistic about their chances than the alternative.
I see plenty of upside potential with their strategy and I don't see where they've set a foot wrong since the rebirth and direction change.
