There're still 2 weeks left for gold to form a respectable looking September candle on the monthly chart.

As an internet commentator pointed out, the big gold stock indices in the States, the XAU and HUI, made exceptional long tailed candles for last week, which at least offers the right 'technical' preparation for a turnaround. There was one night there where I saw the gold stocks diverge from the general stocks with a good advance.
