Such as IP addressability, environment sensing, remote monitoring etc. These are not unique to Intevia, any electronically controlled actuator can be IP controlled. This is not a property of the SMA but of the control system that drives it.
The main advantage of Intevia are the compactness of the package (as opposed to servos and magnetic latches etc), the low current draw and the increased reliability from a simplified actuation system.
