The "Faith" of the "sola fide" sects is more about following without question the errors of others and embracing superstition, irrationality, rejection of reality and fact. In fact the more this kind of faith rejects real knowledge the more spiritual a person is considered. As an example, when a Jehovah Witness dies from the want of a blood transfusion, this is considered a beautiful act of faith in the teachings of the Bible. What it really is is some poor fool putting their faith in the errors of somebody else's interpretation of the Bible and throwing their life away. Christ wants your faith, sure, but you need to understand what reality is first and then what faith means and then what faith becomes when it exerts itself into real world situations. True faith is conscious knowledge expressed in action and that action is service to humanity. Preaching, going to church, reading your Bible, etc is not service to humanity. A nice line from the Baha'i writings says, The essence of faith is fewness of words and abundance of deeds . . . .

Baha is very humanitarian and as with many other beliefs/religion it is full of many well meaning and caring people. ... Humanitarian says feed the hungry before they walk over a cliff yet some of them don't even believe there is a cliff at all. .. Christs Christianity teaches to save the hungry from the cliff while feeding them. .. See the difference ?
