These people may not fit your definition of a refugee, but your definition is meaningless
The vast majority of refugees who have entered Australia by boats, have eventually been granted the right to stay as refugees. Some decisions were made by the immigration department, many were made by the courts.
Clearly the immigaration department and courts HAVE defined these people as refugees, so of course you are entitled to your opinion, but in this case, based on facts, your opinion is WRONG
