My first thought when I saw the Switzerland connection was the cost - I've traveled there a few times in recent years and it's by far the most expensive part of the world I've ever been to. Any professional services such as labs etc. would be exceptionally costly on a cash basis so an unlisted options arrangement with them makes perfect sense.
