skitzo - why isnt this related to the Co? 9 out of 10 mid tier oilers have outperfromed AMU over the last 3 years. That hasn't chnaged over the last 8 weeks (check out a chart comparison)
Other than that my question was more pointed at why big sellers would hit the boards this morning with buyers pulling their bids just days b4 a buyback kicks in. Wouldn't you wait?
Management is obviously trying to get the SP up ahead of the AGM... maybe thats the point of the selling?
Whatever, management claimed loudly Wylie would bring new buying and new shareholders thru their connections with Bells neither of which is happening.
No answers from me - just questions, but its getting harder and harder to reconcile the SP action with the underlying business. Being frustrated would b a given for AMU shareholders. I hope we're not saying these same things in 6 months time after all the placements, increased management, costs etc.
