I have also taken up my full entitlements across various entities, including the entitlement in respect of the large quantity in escrow and subject to ELF loans. I am very sympathetic to your plight and that of others who took "advantage" of the interest discounts before the Indian tripartite arrangement turned turtle. I would have done exactly the same if I had the cash in my SMSF at the time and thank my lucky stars I decided not to sell other speculative stocks in my SMSF portfolio to do so. My SMSF's loan is under the most expensive compounding arrangement. I'm now far from certain it will ever make sense to pay out, but who knows maybe they will extend the end date or offer some further discounts?
The one thing in all of the ECT/ESI story thus far that I really can't understand,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, is all the haters on this forum and the vitriol directed at our key executive staff and board. I have recently put many on ignore but now find I'm seeing a lot of blank pages with blue bars at the top and then I find a host of new haters who seem to be joining the throng too. Others have observed the obsessive compulsive postings of some non holders here. Questions I want to ask are: "what gives Rupe?" and "how many Nom de plumes do you control here?" I used to enjoy your old stuff and I'm prepared to give you credit for the creativity necessary to channel several distinct alter egoes....but why bother?
But back to topic ......Interestingly with all these new shares purchased at 0.001 and my previous biggest tranche acquired post ALDP at 0.002, I calculate that I will be very close to break even at 0.002, despite some "greedy" buying at higher prices along the way. Even more interesting is that at 1 cent I calculate that in dollar terms I will have about the same profit I previously enjoyed when the SP was about 2.5 cents.
FWIW I agree with NT84, Th and your good self Justintonation and think a SP recovery is possible. In my view this stock is now even more speculative than it was after ALDP, however having attended the AGM and observed very closely the key players and what they had to say, I am convinced that our company is worth further support, With apologies to Paul Keating the real question for us now appears to be: "Can a soufflé rise thrice?" For mine I think a re-rating can occur .....once even a small amount of cash flow is being generated by Bacchus Marsh.
