I felt first had that type of attitude having immigrated here in 1970 us Southern European were called wogs amongst other things and we where ridiculed for the things we ate. Southern European did all the lowly jobs that Australians didn't want to do, market gardeners, fishing, shop keepers and unskilled labour. Amusing look back that the Southern European amassed a lot of wealth and seeing how our food and culture has been embarrassed.
