I'm willing to accept that today may have been the bottom as the market seems very, very oversold.

As you know - a sudden rapid acceleration of a trend causing an overshoot often marks the moment of reversal so you could be right. Look at quality stocks like ARU, BRM and a few others have had previous solid support lines crushed today and are ridiculously oversold so there is certainly amazing value to tempt the punters back in.

I'm taking the gloomy approach so that I might be pleasantly surprised.
