The key question I am asking myself right now is what will 1ST be valued at once the business hits $10m ARR...
- $10m ARR is often considered a key threshold point for SaaS businesses.
- Once this scale threshold is passed, companies are often valued at much higher ARR multiples (pending the fundamentals e.g. gross margin, TAM etc. remaining sound).
- The ARR multiple at $10m ARR will be most closely linked to the growth rate. If Klaus can get us from $5.2m ARR today to $10m ARR within the next 18 months... the CAGR will be north of 50% which will be deserving of a multiple of 10x or more
- A 10x multiple on ARR of $10m is a market cap of $100m which is a share price of 23.5 cents
If you can wait ~2 years, there is a good chance you will get a 5 bagger from this investment from current levels.
